HOW I WORK

From semi-naked and textured cakes to smooth finishes and pressed flower designs, I create bespoke wedding cakes that reflect your style and your celebration. My approach is simple: every cake must taste as incredible as it looks. Flavour, texture, and quality are never compromised in the pursuit of a stunning final design.

Too often, wedding cakes are admired but not truly enjoyed - my cakes are made to be savoured, keeping people coming back for more.

THE PROCESS

PRICING

Every wedding cake I create is bespoke, designed around your style, number of tiers, and any extra details.

As a guide, standard 2-tier semi-naked cakes start from £410. Final pricing, including delivery and set-up, will be confirmed once we’ve discussed your design and requirements.

WHAT SIZE CAKE DO YOU NEED?

The size of your wedding cake depends on your guest numbers and how you plan to serve it. Wedding cake portions are typically smaller than celebration cake slices, so a cake can often serve more guests than you might expect.

As a general guide:

  • 2 tiers – serves approximately 85–95 guests

  • 3 tiers – serves approximately 140–150 guests

  • 4 tiers – serves approximately 150–160 guests

If you have a larger guest list, additional tiers or a combination of cake and extra kitchen-cut portions can easily be arranged.

Don’t worry if you’re unsure — once I know your guest numbers and venue details, I’ll recommend the best option to suit your day.

Choose your flavour

All cakes are baked to order with fresh, high-quality ingredients, where flavour and texture matter just as much as the final design. You can even pick a different flavour for each tier, so everyone gets to enjoy a delicious mix of options.

”Very happy we chose Hester to bake our wedding cake! It was so nice having the testers come in cupcake form - we thoroughly enjoyed testing out all the flavours.

It turned out exactly how I'd envisioned it. Most importantly, it tasted divine and so many guests commented on how delicious it was!”
